Hi friends!
On Saturday, August 25th, we had the pleasure of venturing out to Red Wheel Barrow Produce in the Selle Valley for a farm-to-table dinner fundraiser for NAMI.
For those of you who haven't heard of NAMI, they stand for the National Alliance for Mental Illness. They have been serving our community since 2007 and they provide support for those who navigate mental illness and their friends and family.
We have been getting a lot of questions regarding our collaboration with NAMI and why we are running a #breakingthestigma campaign (also known as #mentalhealthmonday). The answer is that we stand for more than a craft boutique store, we hope to use our channel to raise awareness on issues that we care about! If we can play a small role to help bring more people together, then everybody wins.
The whole event was out of this world!! It felt more like a wedding than a farm to table dinner. Chef Peter Tobin really knocked everyones socks off with his million-course meal paired with wine from the Pend Orielle Winery. It was truly a magical evening that ended in thousands of dollars raised for the organization and crisis hotline.
